Michel is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with over 34 years of experience in large-scale project delivery. Throughout his career, he has amassed extensive global experience across eight aluminium smelters, three nickel/cobalt refineries, and one alumina project. His career progression started with developing maintenance programs, advancing to roles such as Commissioning Manager, Project Manager, and ultimately, Project Director. Michel has spent 17 years with SNC-Lavalin and 7 years with Rio Tinto, gaining valuable insights as both an engineering firm representative and an owner’s team leader.
