Inco Goro Tailings Facility: Sustainable Mine Development in New Caledonia

The Inco Goro Tailings Facility is part of a US$4 billion laterite nickel project in New Caledonia, featuring extensive infrastructure, an open-cut mine, and a state-of-the-art process plant. This initiative required the development of tailings storage facilities (TSF) and associated mine infrastructure to ensure environmentally responsible waste management and efficient operations.
